I have sketched out a 12X16 of these bananas and fruit in Mackenzie-Childs bowls that is more complicated and elaborate.  And much more space to paint--larger brushes, more paint, more subtle shifts of color.

So...I cropped the source photo I took of these on the Stickley dining room table a week or so ago.  I liked the composition.  Thought about the colors a lot (because they will be used in the larger still life).  My sister gave me a fabulous book on Cezanne for Christmas and I have been studying it. Stole an idea from Cezanne as he outlines his fruit.    Seems to work for him.
And mixed colors into the dominant colors.  The tomatoes have ever so slight King's Blue and Sap Green.  The shadows have a touch of King's Blue, etc.
So...Grumbacher Cadmium Red Medium from the 60s!
Arlene Kanter's mother's Winsor & Newton Indian Yellow.
Holbein Crimson Lake and Permanent Yellow Light.
Lukas 1862 Cadmium Red Light; Indian Yellow; Transparent Red Oxide.
Gamblin:  Naples Yellow; Cadmium Yellow Medium.
Charvin Titanium White.
Richeson:  Sap Green; Burnt Umber Cool.
Williamsburg:  Persian Rose; King's Blue; Brilliant Pale Yellow; French Yellow Ochre Deep; Italian Lemon Ochre; Italian Black Roman Earth.
Skewer; Princeton 6 Angle Bright; 2/0 Pointed Round; 2 Short Filbert; Rosemary 2 Ivory Long Flat.
