Seven Pieces

Here is a little gouache of more pottery.  I did the sketch last night as I was watching "Interstellar."  We have many exquisite  pieces of pottery that Ann collected, I collected, we collected together, or came as gifts.  I have been enjoying them for decades.  So they are the inspiration for these paintings.

Holbein Gouache (made in Japan!).  Grey No. 2, Burnt Umber, Light Ochre, Leek Green, Burnt Sienna, Permanent Green Deep, Ultramarine.

New brushes:  Simply Simmons:  10 Pointed Round; 4 Round; 5/0 Round.  Fabulous!

I find just thinking about the pottery and arranging it in my mind, on the tables or mantel, or on the paper deeply satisfying.
